When I start
GeoHawk, I can't see anything...?
If you start the application and no data is displayed in
the Map Viewer, go to the Object Control and make sure that
some items are checked. While you are here you may want
to check any other data that you will want to view. Click
OK on the Object Control to close the window.
If the Object Control has items checked and you still do
not see anything, zoom out. Do this by clicking on the Zoom
to Full Extent button or the Zoom Out button.

The Object
Control window doesn't have any data listed ... ?
If there is no data listed in the Object Control window,
you may need to set a connection to your data. This is done
under the File > Data Connection menu.

Why are the
objects different colors than normal... ?
If your objects (pipes, lines etc.) are different colors
than usual, go to the Drawing Applications/Themes menu on
the map toolbar. It is located in the top right of the application.
Click on it and then click on Default to return the application
to normal drawing styles. If you would like to see a legend
that explains the drawing colors go to Window > Application
Legend from the menu.

How do I return
to normal drawing ... ?
If you want GeoHawk to return to normal drawing, go to the
Drawing Applications/Themes menu on the top right of the
map toolbar and click on Default.

When I click
the Zoom In/Out it zooms too far or not enough ... ?
If the zoom feature doesn't move in or out to your liking,
go to the File > Properties menu and adjust the zoom
rate to suit you. You can also draw a box while zooming
to go to a specified area.
